EXCEL is a non-profit making subsidiary of HKAPA. PROGRAMME ASSISTANT (INTERN) EXCEL (Extension and Continuing Education for Life) provides high quality performing arts education through short courses, full-time programmes, customised workshops, and performance-based productions. We are now seeking high calibre candidates to join our growing team. If you are passionate about performing arts education and share our vision in bringing community impact through performing arts and education, we would love to hear from you! EXCEL is a non-profit making subsidiary of HKAPA. The Programme Assistant will assist the Programme Team to assure the smooth execution and operation of EXCEL programmes. The Programme Assistant needs to perform general course administration and office duties, including but not limited to admission and enrollment services, venue scheduling, course promotion and graphic design, arrangement of course materials and equipment, maintenance of student and tutor records, database management, handling enquiries, supervising part-time operation and other ad hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: A Higher Diploma or above. Preferably with one year work experience, but fresh graduates will also be considered. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. strong sense of responsibility and attentive to details. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua could be an asset. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Chinese word processing. Working knowledge of Canva or other graphic tools ; and Available to work on roster and at EXCEL programme venues. Terms of Appointment Appointment will be made on a One-year fixed-term contract. Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include: Medical benefits Annual Leave Mandatory provident fund PART-TIME TEACHER FOR SHORT COURSES AND BESPOKE PROGRAMMES Extension and Continuing Education for Life (EXCEL) is inviting high-calibre professionals to join its part-time teaching team for the Year of 2026. Part-time teaching opportunities may arise in the following areas of Short Courses and Bespoke Programmes: Chinese Opera Dance Drama Film & Television Music Theatre & Entertainment Arts Children’s Programmes Executive Training Musical Theatre Applicants are expected to be degree holders in a relevant discipline, or to demonstrate a professional level of training to an equivalent standard, with the ability to teach in English or Chinese. For some areas of study, current professional practitioners are preferred, while for others, teaching experience is required. Qualified and interested individuals are invited to apply by sending an application, along with a CV and availability, to the HR Manager, quoting “PT EXCEL”, at hr.excel@hkapa.edu . Applications will be kept on file for the Year of 2026 and considered when suitable vacancies arise. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interview. Part-time Summer Course Operation Assistants Part-time Course Operation Assistants are needed to support the summer course operations of part-time performing arts learning courses provided by HKAPA EXCEL. Duties and Responsibilities: Support classroom activities for summer courses, including taking student attendance and maintaining classroom order. Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for course participants. Prepare and provide operational & logistical support such as class set up, equipment preparation, and live support to different courses and programmes. Handle phone calls and walk-in enquiries. Handle course enrolments. Liaise with students, tutors, or parents/guardians on course arrangement. Provide general administrative and clerical support such as data entry, stock check, etc. Perform ad hoc task requests as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: Good command of English and Cantonese. Proficiency in MS Office applications (including MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in learning centre or course operation support is an advantage. Knowledge of AV equipment is an advantage. Workplace: Shek Kip Mei Studio, HKAPA Wanchai Campus, or other hired venues. Work Time: at least 3 hours per session on weekday mornings or afternoons during summer (July & August), evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Flexibility to work across both Shek Kip Mei Studio and Wanchai Campus would be a definite plus. Preference will be given to candidates who can work at the Shek Kip Mei Studio. Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC): A valid SCRC result is not required at the application stage, but candidates who are offered a role will be required to apply for one prior to reporting for duty.
