Step into the Spotlight with Musical Theatre!
This dynamic taster course is designed for children aged 7 to 10, offering an exciting introduction to musical theatre through singing and dance. Across the programme, students will build confidence and performance skills while working towards a final showcase featuring popular Broadway or movie-inspired numbers. The programme includes:
Singing: vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, and articulation exercises to strengthen tone, clarity, and expression.
Dance: stretching and basic musical theatre steps that develop coordination, rhythm, and stage presence.
As students learn to combine lyrics with movement, they will explore how to use their voices and bodies together as a powerful, expressive performance tool. In an encouraging and energetic environment, children will gain confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills, culminating in a lively in-class showcase they can proudly share.
