Drawing insights from the six-time nominee of the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design, Irving Cheung, the course will first introduce contemporary arts, learning to appreciate the works of different artists and understand the aesthetics within them. Then the course covers the basic concepts of film art production, an understanding of how film art is structured and executed. It will review art design through practical film production experiences, teach students how to use AI to assist in art and design, and design proposals from a professional perspective. Students can enhance their awareness, analysis, and understanding of contemporary art through the course, develop creativity, critical thinking, and aesthetic cultivation, and cultivate the ability to appreciate and analyze films and artworks. 

 

This course is specially designed for art and film enthusiasts. It welcomes individuals aged 16 and above to participate, and art background is not required.
