The course is designed for children aged 9 to 12 and aims to enhance their singing abilities through vocal practice and proper techniques.
The goal of this class to inspire students to discover their singing talents while teaching fundamental vocal skills.
The curriculum covers a diverse range of repertoire, including selected scenes from operetta and musical (depending on the student’s level). The singing style would be Western classical, where language includes English and Putonghua. It is an advantage if applicants can read the staff (五線譜). At the end of the course, students will have a solo performance of one of the set pieces and an ensemble piece with all students.
Singing technique training includes:
Breathing exercises and control
Improvement of phonation
Performance and singing posture.
Pitch accuracy training
** The course and the showcase include a live piano accompanist.
