Applied Digital Motion Graphics (Module from Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Film and Television)
“Digital Motion Graphics” addresses graphic design aesthetics, principles, techniques as well as production process of computer still and motion graphics. Students acquire in-depth specialised principles and techniques in creating graphical titles, representations of pictorial information. Different graphic software programmes are introduced in support of established specialised knowledge in digital production. Through a number of creative tasks, students have plenty of opportunities to apply the learned skills and techniques to produce create work-in-progress such as film posters, motion graphics for narrative films.
1. Fundamentals and design principles of computer-generated imagery
2. Visual representation of pictorial information in digital graphics
3. Composition of digital-generated imagery and live action footage
4. Motion graphics techniques and applications
5. Titling design and applications

Total Tuition Fee: HKD 10,500
(Payable in 4 instalments; HKD 2,625 per instalment)
*Applicants who apply for the CEF funding for the first application will be subsidised course fees up to HKD 8,400. (After the subsidy, students pay only HKD 2,100 for 42 training hours)
