Designed for children aged 7 to 9, this workshop combines hands-on arts and crafts with performing arts to nurture creativity, confidence, self-expression and collaboration through puppet making, character development and interactive theatre activities. Participants will create their own unique puppet and bring it to life by developing its name, personality and backstory. They will also learn fundamental puppetry skills, including movement control, eye focus and character voice work, using different vocal qualities to express their puppet's personality. Through drama games, imaginative scenarios and group-based creative activities, participants will collaborate to develop stories and dialogues, learning how to use puppets for interaction and storytelling while strengthening their communication skills, creative thinking and teamwork. 
 
Course Highlights:
Creative Thinking and Artistic Expression: By designing and creating their own puppet, children will be encouraged to develop creative thinking skills. 
Confidence and Communication Skills: Using puppets as a medium for expression, children will be encouraged to share their ideas and emotions, building confidence in public speaking and enhancing communication skills. 
Coordination and Concentration: Children will learn fundamental puppetry techniques, coordinating movement and voice to improve concentration, physical coordination and observation skills. 
Teamwork and Social Skills: Through group creation and drama activities, participants will develop active listening skills, mutual respect and collaborative problem-solving abilities while fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
