The Intermediate Ballet course covers many ballet steps, including barre work, ports de bras, adage, pirouettes, batteries, and small to big jumps. Through this course, students can learn dance techniques, movement vocabularies, body coordination and balance, muscle flexibility, and the sense of rhythm. Additionally, they will develop self-discipline, refine their postures, and enhance their elegance.
The course includes learning ballet variations to deepen the student’s understanding and appreciation of classical ballet variations and enhance performance skills. Ballet variations may include Swan Lake, Coppélia, Sleeping Beauty, or Paquita. *Students with at least two years of pointe training can choose to participate in pointe (Pointe shoes).
This course is suitable for students with at least three years of ballet training or those who have attained an Intermediate Level in RAD.
*This course includes a live piano accompanist.
*Prior to enrollment, participants are expected to ascertain that their physical condition is appropriate for undertaking this course.
