Adult Ballet Level 1 or equivalent (minimum 6–12 months of prior ballet experience)
Note: This course is not for absolute beginners. Students must have a foundational understanding of basic ballet terminology and alignment.
Take your technique to the next level in a supportive, encouraging environment designed specifically for dancers with prior experience. Level 2 moves beyond basic foot positions and posture to introduce greater complexity at the barre and more dynamic movement onto the center work.
What You'll Learn
Barre Refinement: Advance beyond slow foundational drills to faster, more complex coordination (including fondus, frappés, and full grand battements).
Center Work: Transition off the barre to build balance and spatial awareness through weight transfers, pirouette preparations, and basic allegro (jumping) combinations.
Musicality & Articulation: Develop musical timing, fluid transitions, and intentional upper body (port de bras) expression.
*This course includes a live piano accompanist.
*Prior to enrollment, participants are expected to ascertain that their physical condition is appropriate for undertaking this course
