This course will explore the two main approaches of acting – the outside-in and inside-out approach. Participants will experience both styles in creative acting with the same fundamental techniques. Taking part in different observation, character creation, body and vocal exercises, participants will be able to explore techniques in freeing the actor’s voice, imagination and physicality originating from two different approaches. Students will be able to create a character and understand basic improvisation techniques.
