The Foundation Ballet course will teach the basic elements of barre work, center work and small jump exercises, as well as the terminology of ballet, allowing students to learn to appreciate and understand the art of ballet.

The course is for participants with experience ranging from none to one year’s prior training in Ballet.

  • Tutor's Profile

    Tutor: Tang Yui Sze Natalie

    Natalie graduated with the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Ballet. She was awarded Bronze Medal (2008), Silver Medal (2012) in the Hong Kong Ballet Group Competition. She also received scholarship from Hong Kong Ballet Group (2009) to attend Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Denmark, Kid’s Gallery Group Scholarship (2011). She had appeared in numerous performances with the Youth Ballet of Asia and starred as the leading role in several repertories such as Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty; Odile in the Black Swan Grand Pas de Deux.
